Avoziki Sauce That Will Change Your Life

Avoziki Sauce: We put that $h*t on EVERYTHANG!

This is a recipe to have at the ready when meal time comes and you’re scrambling for anything. It makes the “everything but the kitchen sink” meal taste fantastic!

Now, a lot of bloggers write a little back story or some weird random story before posting a recipe with a kazillion pictures.

I’m busy, the family is screaming for a meal, I completely forgot I had to make dinner again (literally an every day occurrence) so let’s just be real and get to what you and I both really want and need right now. The dang recipe.

Save this, print this, screenshot this, Pinterest this – this sauce is LIFE!

There, now that I have you fully built up with expectation, I hope this sauce lives up to it!

Avoziki Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2-4” of cucumber (just peel and slice it into four)
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Little bit of black pepper
  • 1-2 TBSP EVOO (add 1 and then add more as you adjust it for consistency and taste)
  • 1-2 drops Young Living Dill essential oil (or 2 tsp fresh – the flavor will be more muted until the next day)

Directions

Throw it all in high-power blender and blend until smooth.  Taste and adjust (most likely the salt, EVOO, or lemon juice).

For real, this sauce is going to rock your world. It’s got loads of flavor and it takes seconds to make (about 3 minutes in real time).

As long as you’ve got fresh avocado and cucumber, you’re set! Heck, I’ve even used a frozen avocado heated up.

Use on ERRYTHANG!  I think we first found it to use on lettuce wraps. We use it as a spread, a dip, on pasta, Little Man drinks it straight from the jar… it’s so gooooooood!

We love it with Sweet Potato Burgers, with beet chips, on salad, roasted veggies, on a pizza, in a sandwich, wrap or pita. You could even dunk grapes in it and have an epic flavor explosion in your mouth! Do it, it’s fun!

Truth be told, I’ve even brought this sauce to restaurants to jazz up my meal. I have no shame about it.

Well I hope you enjoy this avoziki sauce recipe and allow it to become your ‘Hail Mary’ for pulling together a meal at the last second.
